Control (Student Work)

Designed by Mara Rodríguez and Catarina Pinheiro, two students of the Master’s Degree in Packaging Design at ELISAVA school in Barcelona, Spain.

The purpose of this project was to redesign a condom packaging.

We thought about the idea of a blister, which is easier and quicker to use. What is more, it gives you the idea of pills’s security so you’ll get more confidence on the product. There are two packs, one bigger to keep it at home, and another one with four condoms to take away.

About the graphics, we chose the idea of lips to represent sensuality and sexuality. We gave different lips and typography colors to each product and we compose it over a black background that gives a smart feeling to the packs. Black background also helps people to think about night and adultness.
