The challenge was to create a logo and package a gift box for the 10th anniversary of Italian home restaurant Ankyun. It is a little but well-known restaurant that was opened in the heart of Yerevan by a couple who had an experience of exploring the Sicilian cuisine and 10 years ago start their own business. Both the food and atmosphere are of traditional Italian style. The founder and chef of Ankyun Artak knows all his loyal customers and has become a good friend for most of them. So for their birthday Artak and his wife decided to give instead of receiving gifts. We started working on the logo design in which were actively engaged the founders of the restaurant. So exploring all the details of Ankyun’s history and interior we found the ornament on one their tables that was to become the logo for 10th anniversary.

What’s Unique?
The box had to be so to include a little bottle of traditional Sicilian limoncello, a jar of sauce, Parmesan cheese, cookies and for sure pasta, and all these made in Ankyun. So we decided to have solely natural materials like wood, hay, cotton texture, twine, only craft paper and packages and even a real leave of lemon tree. As a result we had a box that didn’t want to gift to anybody.
