Block printing is the process of printing patterns on textile or paper by using a carved piece of wood. It has been practised in the country since ages and is one of the signature art forms of India. The process of block printing by hand is slow and involves a high level of skill. We wanted the users to experience this process in a way that would be easy and hassle free.

The concept is to build a compact and complete packaging for a DIY block printing kit. Our objective is to bridge the gap between the traditional and modern. The kit provides an assortment of all the materials and tools required to get you started with block printing at home.

What’s Unique?
Block Shauk encourages the users to incorporate a traditional art form into their personal style. It focuses more on providing usability and application rather than just promoting the art form.
