Tissues’ explosion was part of a student project for the Packaging Design Course at the University of Central Lancashire.

The brief required a package creation for a brand and product of students’ choice using paper as the sole material.

The chosen brand was kleenex and the product selected were tissues, a variety of tissue box packages already exists in the market. The idea of using the illustration of an exploding volcano points out to the uncomfortable symptoms of a sore throat, high fever and running nose that a person with a cold endures.
