Gallimaté is a startup beverage manufacturing business founded by two friends, who share a passion for making healthy drinks with superior flavor and all natural ingredients. The name Gallimaté is a contraction of Gallus (rooster, an emblem of the French) and Yerba Maté, a drink made from the naturally caffeinated leaves of the South American rain forest holly tree, popular for its richness in nutrients and antioxidants. The drink is low in sugar and has a unique flavor thanks to its authentic, natural ingredients: yerba mate, elder flower and kaffir lime.

Sold mainly through through trendy cafes, restaurants and boutique supermarkets in France, the mate based beverage is targeted at young, health conscious individuals as a healthy, flavorful alternative to usual soft and energy drinks.

What’s Unique?
The uniqueness of the design lays within the detailed, ornamental illustration combined with the turquoise blue background, which is an unusual color to be featured in food & beverage packaging design. However, the unique background color combined with the ornamental white line art lends the product a captivating quality, which makes the bottle attractive and memorable.
