Love filter coffee but too lazy to prepare? No proper equipment? Do not have much time? I feel you (I craved for coffee every second while I was doing this project).

The concept divided into two parts-

  1. The Inner Packet- The packet once opened and unfolded, turns into a cup . Tear open the packet, unfold it to make a cup, add hot water up to the mark that is provided in the packet, pinch the bottom of the cup few times (how’s that done? Have a look at the illustrations below). Add more water, milk and sugar. Enjoy your filter coffee !
  2. The Outer Box- A box is stacked up with the packet-cup. It has a window at the bottom for easy dispensing of individual packet, letting the gravity do the work !

The Cothas is a 70 years old South Indian Filter Coffee Brand, so the display graphics are designed in a way that gives a royal feel to the user because you know coffee is not just about just drinking, it’s about the feeling!
The target audience for the concept is mainly the people who go for a job and need refreshments at their workplace and students who live in the hostel who need coffee for their all-nighters .

What’s Unique?
A completely new technique is introduced with the help of this packaging. The packet turning into a cup is a great catch for the users.
