MANTONEGRO – “Character is forged over time.”
Mantonegro is a limited edition of Cognac aged in oak barrels, launched on the market by the Tapaus distillery in Mendoza, Argentina. We sought to create a label that represented the character of this drink using simple but very powerful resources.
The black color and the golden typesetting are the main elements that give strength to this design, accompanied by a bottle shape that is relevant to the vintage character of the drink.
A simple label that with minimal resources achieves a powerful and imposing essence. A clear example that less is more.
What makes this design unique is its simplicity. At the beginning of the project, we wanted to represent the character of the drink through many graphic elements that, after all, did not add to the design. In the search for simplicity, we found the solution, always accompanied by typographic sensitivity and the correct choice of materials.
