Meadowlark Playing Cards (started in 2019 by Meadowlark Pharmacy’s owner, Jonathon Lamarque) has released 3 successful playing card decks on Kickstarter since its founding.

This latest deck was intended to be an homage to Mainstreet Pharmacies of days gone by, leveraging a vintage feel. “We decided to bring the theme back to our foundation: Pharmacy. Since we were going back to our roots, we decided that the best way to do so would be to pay homage to the old school small town pharmacies on Main Street. We wanted to bring you back to a time where artwork was ornate and quality items came packaged inside metal tins. Instead of using the standard Bicycle or Arrco courts, we thought that we would update them while still giving them a vintage feel.”

There are three different tuck boxes designed for this campaign. Each are printed on paper, colored meticulously to match the desired vintage green. Printed offset with black ink, copper hot foil, and embossing.

Each deck is also housed in an embossed tin box, reminiscent of pill tins.
