THE SIN CITY EXPERIENCE

This project was focused on creating a logo suite and packaging for the 7 Deadly Sins. The theme chosen for this suite of logos was Las Vegas, which is often referred to as “Sin City.” The goal was to match up a Vegas attraction with one of the seven deadly sins in order to create a “Sin City Experience.”

Logo Designs

The 7 logos created for the Sin City Experience are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Envy, Pride, and Sloth. For the Sin City packaging, only 3 logos were chosen to make into products: Lust, Greed and Envy. These 3 products were made into a bath gift set that luxury Las Vegas hotels would provide for their guests. The bath set serves as a way for the guest to escape and erase all of the ugliness that happens in Sin City once they return to their hotel.

GREED

Bath salts have many restorative qualities and can actually restore the human body at a cellular level. These bath salts can even be used by the guest to restore from the greed they activated in one of Las Vegas’ many casinos. Greed is often associated with casinos in Vegas and so the logo for greed combines a poker chip and a spiral. This combination represents the spiraling greed that takes place during gambling.

ENVY

The word cleanse is paired with the bar soap provided in the gift set. The bar soap shows the Envy logo. Envy relates to the shopping scene in Vegas and is represented with a high heel. The heel of this high heel has leg that is wearing another high heel. This double heel represents the idea that no matter what shoe someone has, they always want the shoe someone else is wearing. The bar soap will help the guest cleanse themself from any feelings of envy.

LUST

The candle uses the Lust logo and is meant to purify the air while purifying the guests mind of any lustful thoughts. The logo for lust takes elements from the spas and wedding chapels in Las Vegas by combining a candle and ring.
