Cardenal Mendoza Nebulis

Following the successful launch of Cardenal Mendoza Clasico’s redesign, the team at Sanchez Romate Brothers have asked Appartement 103 to stretch the brand with the development of its latest innovation, Cardenal Mendoza Nebulis.

This NPD, secretly developed over several years, acquires its unique character by finishing Cardenal Mendoza Clásico (15yrs old) in 250-litre Spanish oak barrels, which have undergone intense toasting with the shoots from their vines. The nose develops slowly, and the initial soft smoky notes become more intense the more prolonged the bouquet is savoured. On the palate, the brandy has a perfect balance of spicy notes of fresh tobacco and the elegant smokiness of the vine shoot, inviting you to repeat the experience.

As a brand extension from Cardenal Mendoza Classico’s main SKU, The “unusually smoked » innovative concept was conveyed through an unexpected design of black and white tones.
On the gift box, the subtle visuals of the clouds in the background help guide the product taste expectation and directly connect with its name Nebulis, which means “from the clouds” in Latin, adding a sense of poetry captured in the story.

In addition, the use of silver foil printing details offers a touch of refinement. At the same time, the bottle was decorated with a silver metallised gradient, helping the unique presentation emerge on shelves.

This limited handcrafted production aims at brandy lovers but, above all, those who appreciate unexpected discoveries in their glass.
