Hundred Knot Khoai Wines

After engaging CF Napa to develop the name, logo, and packaging design for their new wine brand – Hundred Knot – RD Winery tasked CF Napa with creating the brand’s higher tier Khoai Wines. The name Hundred Knot drew inspiration from the owner’s heritage and was based on a Vietnamese parable that teaches the importance of hard work and perseverance. These tasting room exclusive wines needed to continue to tell this legendary tale while taking on a more luxurious feel.

A hand-painted brush stroke created an abstract illustration of a bamboo stalk to form the main graphic of the label. The brushstroke was embossed and the RDW icon was debossed, providing the final textural touches to the exceptional wine.
