BlueBird Roastery

​​​​​​​On one of our first farm visits in Ecuador we came across a bluebird feasting on some coffee cherries, no matter how much the farmer tried to scare the little bird away his efforts were unsuccessful as the bluebird was obviously tantalized by the fruit. Deciding to taste the cherries and have a cupping session with the farmer it was clear we struck something special. That’s why today our standard in house coffee is simply named Cereza Azul “Blue Cherry” as it represents both the fruit and the bird that started our movement to providing exceptional coffee.
