Chocoral

Chocoral is a series of chocolates inspired by coral reefs, each box has 5 chocolates with different textures and shapes. The process of making chocolate is pretty similar to the process of non-edible materials, Chocoral aims to create new shapes and textures that are not found in normal chocolates to improve the experience and the fun of eating it. The silicone mold for the chocolate was created with 3D printed molds.

The packaging was as important as the creation of the chocolates, the idea was to create 3 different boxes with the outside box being transparent and the inside box in shades of blue to make an illusion of the ocean, also each box has different shades of blue to represent the percentage (30%, 50% and 70%) of cocoa in each chocolate.

Chocoral not only aims to create something different and fun but also to make awareness of the corals and to show how beautiful and different these species are.
