PEAU aims to counter overconsumption and demystify skincare with clean products that have multiple benefits. For PEAU, skincare is about acts of self-love rather than looking a certain way. With uplifting phrases and icons to denote recommended use, PEAU takes self-doubt out of the daily routine. PEAU’s mission is in three parts: reduce the number of products people use in their routines, empower consumers to feel confident in their routine without spending hours Googling ingredients, and serve as an everyday reminder on their counter that self-care and self-love are far more important than looks.

PEAU’s visual design is inspired by its slogans: “It’s not how you look / it’s how you feel” and “You are a work of art”. Color and layout choices aim to feel fit for a work of art while staying neutral enough to be on display in anyone’s bathroom.
