DADD is made by fourth generation vigneron Chester Osborn and is named in honour of his forefathers that established d’Arenberg.
Each of these Dads deserved recognition for this special wine and that’s why Dad is spelt with an extra d. Each contributed something major to this business and there a signs of their hard work and influence throughout the property. Their legacy lives on in this wine.
“My Great-Grandfather purchased the property in 1912 and together with my Grandfather planted more vines which we still use to this day,” he said. “My Grandfather also built the winery and my father created the red stripe and the d’Arenberg brand, which was a huge step forward.
