This project started with your choice of packaging – I choose Beer. We proceeded to pick our demographics out of a hat – I received Dogs! Well, dogs don’t buy beer so I began to think who would buy beer for their dog?! My first thought were hipsters in Williamsburg, BK. The design is based around hipsters aesthetic. The illustration of the dog, pattern, and “Fuerte” makes the packaging more appealing since it is extremely original and playful.

I wanted to create a beer that was healthy, delicious, and nutritious for a dog. My first instinct was to research the best place to find the most amazing beef, since beef bone broth is an apparently extremely healthy drink for both dogs and humans! Pus dogs love meat. After researching, Argentina came up so I created a story for the beer’s name, label, and concept revolving around a Guacho and his dog, Fuerte. Fuerte became sick so the Gaucho created a drink for him using the beef he had on his farm which magically cured Fuerte. Since Fuerte means strong in Spanish the slogan for the beer is “Only strong dogs drink beer.”
