Created from a love of the cocktail, Bamboozlers bottled cocktails brings the pleasure of the classic cocktail to new levels of quality and taste in the convenience of a single-serve glass bottle. As a start-up, the Spring Design Partners team built the brand from ground up including visual strategy, brand identity, name and packaging design.

The Spring team worked closely with the founder Chef David Kanter to develop an identity and name that drew inspiration from a time when America’s love of the cocktail was born — the Prohibition era. Bamboozlers’ etymology is shrouded in mystery, evolving from its original meaning, which was to trick or hoodwink, into slang for describing a good drink. The name Bamboozlers playfully welcomes you into its circle of sophisticated intrigue.

What’s Unique?
Taking the cues from the rich visual history of the Prohibition era, the branding system tells a story of refined elegance with an edge. The designers developed a swizzle stick icon that served as the common visual thread across the different flavors and created a unique custom icons for each cocktail. Strategically keeping the colors restrained, it allows the personality of the cocktails inside to do its own persuading, whether the bottle is found in a hotel bar, an airplane cart or a home bar.
