A special edition, commemorative folio for the United States Postal Service, released in conjunction with the Total Eclipse of the Sun forever stamp. We were asked by Journey Group to interpret & visualize the eclipse, as well as map its projected pathway across the U.S. on August 21st. Our illustrations live within this colorful 5×5″ accordion-fold booklet.

What’s Unique?
This special edition folio was created for the first ever thermographic stamp produced by the USPS. To celebrate, they commissioned frequent collaborators, Journey Group, to design a package to house the exciting new stamps. Journey Group got us on board to reinterpret how the eclipse progresses, and to create a new map of the path that it will take along the US skies on the 21st of August. Because of the brand new printing process of the stamps, the USPS opted to create an entire package for the folio, including an accordion fold glossy cardstock insert, a frosted jacket and amazing neon spot colors across the project.
