Branding agency A.STUDIO has developed a brand of butters called Hello Day! A wholesome breakfast begins with this emotionally warm and appealing product.

The majority of Russian packaging for butter looks virtually the same. The visual part is based on either an image of a cow or diamond shapes – hangovers from the Soviet period. There are no unique names. In many instances, the name of the actual product (“butter”) is used.

In Russia, butter is the essential ingredient at breakfast. Therefore, we built the package design on a visual metaphor which reflects recognizable features of a bright morning. Due to its name, and a colour scheme and design that are untypical for the category, our brand stands out favorably from its competitors.

The project result is an interesting brand with a semantic interplay between the name and the design.
