Horizont Brewing has introduced a new wave craft beer in cooperation with Carlsberg Hungary. The fans of quality craft beer can witness a partnership that has been unprecedented so far in Hungary as it is the first time that a Hungarian micro brewery cooperates with a leading international beer distributor. Delight IPA created by Horizont will be distributed in Hungary by Carlsberg.

Created from the cooperation of a craft and a multinational brewery, Delight IPA is a light choice; featuring refreshing, intensive tropical scents and a gentle resinous bitterness, this beer can be a companion even for the whole night.

The representatives of the Danish beer distributor, a leading global brand, first met the Horizont beers at a craft beer festival and they got into contact with the craft brewery afterwards. The partners soon found the same wavelength – back in the day Carlsberg also started out with a pioneering, craft philosophy and they cultivated the first lager yeast.

What’s Unique?
This IPA was inspired by the Danube. The river, which is constant and constantly changing at the same time. . It links people together and creates connections. It brings new people and new flavors to Budapest. We caught this beat and sealed it in a bottle.. Open it and let the waves of flavors capture you!

Throughout the planning process, I found it important to illustrate the diversity and beat of the Danube. I depicted it in several colors and shades, as a watercolor background, thus reinforcing the ambiance of the water. Alongside the river, one of Budapest’s most characteristic architectural, and defining details can be seen: the Chain Bridge. Adapting to the style of the earlier labels of Horizont beer, and the characteristic element of the suspension bridge, a hand drawn pillar completes the painted foundation. This sketch style fits the background and resembles the previous labels. Of course, the logo of the brewer also appears at the top of the label.
