The name is a play on words combining bocado (’bite’ in Spanish) and macaron. The visual elements and the colors reflect this same playfulness while combining it with a clean, urban yet elegant look. The product is a sweet reminder to slow down and enjoy life while savoring a bite of heaven.

The packaging was inspired by jewelry boxes and the act of gift-giving itself. Similarly to a ring in a jewelry box, the macarons are sitting on a cushion-like construction which does not only provide physical protection but also highlights the products and conveys the value of these precious macarons. The box is clad in the surface pattern design inspired by the elegance of urban sceneries. Once the box is open, the customer is greeted by a jovial message. After the cushion is removed, the box may be repurposed as a storage box for precious trinkets.
