Chidra is the pun between “sidra” (cider) and “chile”, as it is intended for the Chilean market.

Chidra has a minimum percentage of sugar, is light, bubbly, gluten-free and extremely refreshing.

In this project, I designed an integral product branding: brand (an exclusive logo), choice of colors and fonts, handmade illustrations, label and packaging; emphasizing the small, cute details on illustrations.
Aesthetically Chidra wants to reflect: celebration, joy, freshness, youth and alluding to Chilean people.

This product invites us not to relegate the consumption of cider to Christmas Holidays (as is usual in Argentina and Chile), but to enjoy it throughout the year at our celebrations.

What’s Unique?
Chidra is unique because it takes the colors of the Chilean flag and expresses them on the label playing in a world of folk flowers, reflecting the freshness of the product. Flowers are a novel component, within the classic cider design code, where apples predominate.

The illustrations are original, made by hand and then digitized.

On its label, we find details that make it special, such as relief, textured paper and sectorized varnish.
