PASANKA [PVT] LTD is a manufacturer and an exporter of high-quality organic products from the Southern part of Sri Lanka where the natural gardens of spices, coconut, fruits, under-utilized agriculture crops and also uncommon herbal heritage are rich. the company had been a bulk supplier in the export market for more than 8 years and recently started a range of retail products under their very own brand name MAP. MAP’s former marketing strategy was limited to the local market and this time they wanted to expand this business to the gobble scale as well. Developing an attractive packaging became crucial.

MAP already had 3 basic package styles: Paper Pouch, gazetted pepper Pouch and a pepper tin. they wanted simple label design with a blend of classic and modern outlook. above all the overall look of the products at the display since they were targeting supermarket chains. we at designation had the privilege to make this recipe of requirements a reality.

There ware 7 products in the range, selecting an appropriate color theme was the first challenge. light colors were used to provide a charming outlook. Although natural colors of the ingredients were taken into consideration the priority was given to the significant difference of the colors in the pallet. a hint of classic feel added though the font face and the shapes while keeping most of the space simple.
