The Battifarano farm winery has been owned by their family for more than five centuries of land cultivation. First for self-sufficiency, then as a farm winery to tell the millenarian history of Enotria through their wines. Battifarano’s family always put education and knowledge sharing, for all men and women, at the very heart of our values, together with agriculture. In this way, nothing has been lost over the five hundred years spent reaping the fruits of a very generous land.
The starting point of the visual identity design was the ancient books that the Battifarano company has in its archive. Books that belonged to their ancestors and date back almost to the time of the invention of printing process. We have decided to bring to the public a part of this huge treasure of typography and ancient illustrations through the labels of the wines that the Battifarano company produces.
What’s Unique?
The illustration printed on metal foil are taken from the ancient books owned by the Battifarano’s family. These books dates late 1500 untill 1800.
