The packaging concept by Zsuzsa Papp was created as part of the rebrand concept for Mai Manó Ház (formerly known as the Hungarian House of Photography). The new brand was inspired by traditional photographic processes, and is defined by the blue color associated with cyanography. The packaging also evokes the process of developing a photograph.

The House’s mission is to spread information about the technology and history of photography, therefore the packaging concept includes a card game aimed at familiarizing players with photographers and their respective works. The deck of cards is encased in a camera-shaped box inspired by retro cameras. The ‘camera’ was made with brand-blue extra matte paper and translucent paper. In order to access the deck of cards, you need to, as it were, develop the film to make the contents visible, further enhancing the idea of traditional photographic technologies.
