BOOMBON is a revolutionary product invented by the young businessman Martin Kumpel. It was created in reaction to a dangerous episode of microsleep he experienced on his night journey from holiday. In his quest for eliminating such situations in the future, he tried out all the energy products available on the market. None of them tasted well or was convenient enough for a driver. Therefore, he decided to come up with his own solution – special energy candy that combines the benefits of caffeine and taurine and enhances deep focus and concentration.

The product comes in a significant and iconic shape. However, the previous packaging design wasn’t very successful on the market. Its popularity has been growing since the redesign, and it is now distributed at a gas station franchise. Customers can choose from two flavors – mango (blue) or blackcurrant (red). The box is folded without the use of glues and can be recycled easily. The size of the box is 70 mm. UV print detail symbolises the energy feel.

I designed the logotype, packaging and the visual identity (I didn’t do the web). The logotype comes in horizontal and compact version and there is a small unit that connects packaging with the rest of the visual identity. I also created visual communication ideas that represent main features of the product for printed and online communication.

What’s Unique?
Iconic shape, bright colors, simple design and implementation into other printed visual style elements. The box is folded without any glue which makes it fully recyclable.
