SÛN – Pronounce “Soen” – is the brand name we came up with for a liquid probiotic. SÛN means “health” in Frisian. The drink originates in Friesland, a province in the Netherlands. SÛN is grown from seaweed seed and has a beneficial effect on the stomach and intestinal flora. In addition to coming up with the brand name, IDEA 2 is also responsible for designing the logo, the accompanying style elements and designing the bottle in which SÛN is offered.

The brand name is typographically resolved in capitals, with special attention to the circumflex accent above the letter U. A stylized digestive tract is displayed in gold below the name and symbolizes perfect balance. The dynamics of the whole underline that SÛN is not just any drink, but a valuable addition to a healthy lifestyle.

There is a certain mystique to be found in the design that we have made for the bottle. With dark green as the base for the bottle, the ocher yellow color of the drink itself contributes to an experience that is a nice hint to the rich hues of fresh seaweed. The slim, graceful shape of the oval shaped bottle exudes quality, with the sturdy bottom rim standing steady on Frisian soil. The seal on the aluminum cap is in black and gold. This gives the product a traditional character. After all, SÛN is not made, but is grown.
