Tsujiri Matcha Set is a modern twist on a traditional heritage, the Japanese matcha. This elegant packaging isn’t just pleasing to the eye, but also provides a unique and memorable user experience inspired by the Japanese Tea Ceremony, also known as chadō. Directions and description of the Japanese Tea Ceremony can be found in the outside packaging, and inside is a miniature of a traditional Japanese tea room(chashitsu) equipped with the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony equipment and a complete interior of the chashitsu to complete the experience. Before unraveling the beautiful chashitsu is a fine hexagon shaped packaging inspired by a Japanese garden lamp that is well-made to give the best user experience.
The shape of our packaging is inspired by Japanese Tea house which we then try implement to the form of a complete Japanese stone lamp with a Japanese Tea Ceremony nuanced room identical to some interior elements, such as paintings, sliding doors, tatami, etc. We choose a minimalist and a clean font character, just like the typography in Tsujiri brand logo. The colors we use are inspired from matcha powder and a traditional Japanese house.
