MAGTÁR is my very own love-brand, which came to life meeting several events and things: the outbreak of the coronavirus, my degree in landscape architecture, my fanaticism, my passion for plants, illustration and graphic design, and the need to practice calming down, to turning inwards.

MAGTÁR is a seed-storing calendar. It is a booklet that is a normal calendar, a diary and a plant calendar at the same time. It is a small object in which the user can record their tasks, memories, but more importantly, their inner thoughts, secrets, feelings, and take notes of the needs and care of their plants. On the first page of the months, there are seed papers that can be torn out, planted and if they are cared for well, a plant will grow out of them.

The aim of the brand is to help its users to achieve their balance, to be able to calm themselves and also to take care of their plants on a professional level and to feel responsibility for the Earth. Nowadays, it is even more important to be aware of the environment, to know and to take care of the living world. The seed papers in the calendar can be planted, the MAGTÁR owners can nurture them and get to know their needs. We can get closer to nature with the little booklet, we can learn about it, we can get to know the plants we grow and later the whole world around us. By caring for plants, by growing them from small seeds to adult plants, we can develop ourselves and educate others, who are living around us. In brief, with small steps, attention (to ourselves and the world around us) we can achieve wonderful and important things! The beginning step of this process, the sprout, the small seed can be the MAGTÁR.

The box is multifunctional. Its main task is to store and protect the diary itself. At the edges, you can already guess that you are not dealing with a simple box. The edges are perforated; the box can be torn apart after opening. Each page has some extra content. The main page can be used as an image, the inner part of the back page there is an annual irrigation calendar. The long spine parts can function as bookmarks later, while the shorter parts act as plant marker cards. The box is environmentally friendly, the material is 100% recycled paper, it is not foiled, and it also has minimal printed surface.
