Amphora

Amphora is the latest release of Makarounas Winery in the Paphos wine region in Cyprus. As the name suggests, the wine which is an indigenous Cypriot variety called Promara, ages in Amphoras in order to reveal the character of the grape. This terroir driven wine is bottled in specialy designed packaging where gradients in earthy colours cover the bottle in order to reflect the soils. Amphora is produced in a limited number of bottles.
