The continuous presence of vines in the Amyntaio for 3,500 years, shows that the high altitude and the four lakes of the area create a unique environment for excellent wines, like the rosé 5th Ousia (Quintessential) wine from the greek variety Xinomavro.
The quintessence refers to a fifth element, other than air, earth, fire and water, that was proposed by the ancient Greeks philosophers to describe a wonderful, perfect essence.
For the winery of the wine maker and chemical engineer Ioannis Hatzis we choose names for the wines which reflect his experimental spirit and the special approach to indigenous winemaking percent. The label design is clean and minimal with a focus on typographic design. Black ink, glazed with varnish, screen-printed and illuminated with gold foil, create an overall impression of elegance.
