Panna Cotta packaging for ‘Theobroma’

Subarna

User experience is a keen part of everything designed. The user and the product entangle in such a way it adds to the uniqueness of the product. Embodying user experience in the packaging of any product adds to the value of the brand, and that is exactly what we have planned to achieve with this project.

Our focus was primarily on the luxury of user experience, hence we decided to go ahead with such a product and a brand that goes well with this very notion.

We have designed unique, take-away-friendly packaging for Panna Cotta for the brand ‘Theobroma’, ensuring a more fulfilling and fun experience. It’s an all-inclusive packaging in terms of cutlery required, the user gets to fully experience the Panna Cotta themselves by flipping the Panna Cotta on the plate, and by actually pouring the syrup onto the creamy dessert in the comfort of their home, but with the ambiance that is created in the ‘Theobroma’ stores through the lively color palette and the whimsical drawings.

The user will have to remove the Panna Cotta cups from the secondary packaging, which was inspired by the theme and interiors of the ‘Theobroma’ stores. The user removes the spoon from the small dip on the top of the cup. The spoon has a seal with certain graphics which indicate the flavor of the syrup in the spoon. Then, the user removes the cup from its base, which acts as a plate for the Panna Cotta itself. The seal on the bottom of the cup is removed and then the cup is flipped onto the plate on which the Panna Cotta sits beautifully, waiting for the syrup to be poured. The user opens the seal on the spoon and then pours the syrup onto the dessert, which is eaten by the same spoon which had the syrup.
