Throughout 2023, the Limited Edition of Vermentino La Pettegola Banfi will be customized by the label created by Noma Bar, an internationally renowned Israeli artist. A golden glass, a slender bottle, a bird spreading its wings. Noma Bar turns the symbols of La Pettegola into distinctive signs, giving life to an artwork full of facets and details to discover. Thanks to the augmented reality app “Banfi Experience”, available for free, the label comes to life: the five women talk to us and each one reveals what excites her most.

The protagonists of the artwork are five female figures: together they are an enigma, but just look at them more closely to grasp their truest details and discover that there is a bit of La Pettegola in each of them. The artist wanted to combine his style with the world of La Pettegola, imagining an encounter between five women who reveal their passions, dreams and secrets over a glass of wine. Their emotions, as well as the details of La Pettegola, are “hidden in plain sight”: the amazement created by looking closer is what makes design and life, after all, so special.

Banfi and design: when the wine meets art

The pursuit of beauty has been linked with the history of Banfi since its foundation in 1978, when brothers John and Harry Mariani visited the lovely Montalcino estate for the first time and fell in love with the rolling Tuscan hills, its vineyards and the colors of its bunches. Today Banfi wines are full of charm and elegance as a promise of their unique bouquet and aromatic notes, so perfectly balanced like a work of art. Aesthetics has brought Banfi closer to design in a partnership that becomes stronger every year, thanks to collaborations with internationally renowned artists and designers, exhibitions and vernissages.
