Chrysofora is the name of a small village in the fertile hills above Kalamata in Greece and means ‘bearing gold’ in honor of the liquid gold flourishing there.
From an era of ancient gods and goddesses through today this region has always nurtured the majestic olive tree. Those 4,000 years of continuous cultivation is no mistake and the care of the trees at this family’s land has gratefully been passed down through those generations. This designated terroir produces some of the most delicious, polyphenol rich, heart healthy gold olive oil.
