The challenge was to find a name and art line that would create positive consumer feelings about honey. The idea was based on local honey-loving bears.
The name “Treli Arkouda” (crazy bear) as well as the fantastic story created for a tourist who saw a bear dancing while eating honey led to the artistic design of the label. The design started with the choice of the painter who was chosen to give with his own personal style the depiction of the dancing bears.
This created a friendly, sensitive but also funny image of the two bears with the umbrella and the basket, giving the labels a unique character that in combination with its graphic elements differentiated it from the competition. The colors used, blue and purple, are inspired by the lake and the spring flowers of Prespa lake. The “Treli Arkouda” labels with the bears dancing happily take us to the fairytale world of the taste and purity of honey.
