Crafting a Clean Visual Language for Actifiber, a fastest growing wellness brand in Asia.
Essence Wellness was a startup by ex-Abbott veterans in healthcare when they started with their single healthcare product of soluble fiber supplement. They wanted to create a brand that would stand for clean, easy-to-consume wellness products that would positively impact the consumer. The flagship line of products was an essential fiber supplement that would help control lifestyle diseases.
Actifiber was thus born as a fiber-led healthcare brand. A clean identity is a reflection of a clean and caring health brand with the focus being on the product description hence we kept the logo simple with italicized typos, and arcs inspired by caring hand gestures.
A light buff color was chosen as a brand color to cue lightness, supplemented with vibrant hues for each different product to bring relevance and differentiation to the offering.
This is one brand for which we have used talent/people shots on the packaging. It can be rather tricky to use people on the pack front but for Actifiber they very clearly reflect the product benefit and can resonate with the wellness consumers who look out for results as a motivation to purchase.
According to me, it has turned out to be a great example of how packaging connects and communicates with the consumer most directly through its imagery!
