INSIDE THE CELL

APPROACH
Translating cellular science into a tangible visual experience.

Built around the idea of “Active. Alive.”, the concept translates Institut Esthederm’s skin biology expertise into a visual world that feels dynamic, sophisticated, and alive. I developed a PR box experience built around four distinct cellular worlds, each representing different aspects of the brand’s science, technology, energy, and biological activity.

The objective was to move beyond simply showing the product and create a physical experience that makes the brand’s invisible science visible, tangible, and emotionally engaging.

DESIGN LANGUAGE
Science, visualised through living forms. The visual system is centred around four luminous cellular spheres, each defined by its own combination of light, texture, movement, and structure. Fluid forms, fibres, crystalline textures, particles, and radiant light create a sense of continuous biological activity. Instead of relying on conventional laboratory imagery, I used abstract 3D forms and light to interpret cellular processes in a more premium and contemporary way. The signature Esthederm blue provides the scientific and luxury foundation, while the contrasting cellular worlds introduce colour, depth, energy, and movement. The circular compositions reinforce the idea of cellular cycles, ecosystems, and continuous activity.

INSPIRATION
From biology to beauty. The visual direction draws from the microscopic world of skin biology. Cellular structures, fibres, particles, fluid formations, and natural biological processes were abstracted and reinterpreted into an elevated, almost jewel-like visual language.

The intention was to create a space between scientific precision and beauty, making something inherently complex feel visually desirable and easy to explore. The result transforms microscopic science into a distinctive brand expression that feels premium, immersive, and alive.

IMPACT
Turning invisible science into a brand experience. The system creates a distinctive visual ecosystem for Institut Esthederm, giving its cellular expertise a recognisable expression beyond traditional skincare communication. The four cellular worlds can extend across PR, social, digital, presentations, and campaign applications, creating consistency while allowing each technology or product story to have its own visual identity. For the PR box, this approach transforms packaging into a storytelling experience, connecting technology, biology, and luxury through one cohesive art direction.
