As part of our initial branding work with Heron and Brearley based in the Isle of Man, WPA Pinfold were asked to create the identity for one of its restaurant offerings – Bella Pizza.

The design saw the creation of a logo which reflects the unique characteristics of all classic pizzas with its irregular shape, whilst the typography was hand drawn to reflect the artisan process and ingredients of the traditional stone baked pizza’s. The use of red was influenced by the Isle of Man flag as well as some of the H&B branding to give the identity a sense of place and provenance. The branding has been used across all platforms from: Pizza boxes, posters and aprons. The new look aims to appeal to a younger more family orientated demographic and gives the pizzeria a classic artisan feel. The results of the new, fresh identity, have been well received by the local community and have been implemented in two of their flagship pubs.
