Manipure (in Italian this sounds as PureHands) is a natural hand sanitizer with a protective and pleasing effect. Mentitorosa inspiration was the need for a product that would be free from any smell that reminds of hospital environments. The aim is avoiding the overlapping of possible negative psychological reactions associated to this kind of smell, and the perceptual olfactive experience.

Mentitorosa creates artisan fragrances based on spiritual concepts and meanings. The name “Manipure” is inspired by the third chakra, Manipura, and by the hand of Fatima.

The hand of Fatima is a spiritual and religious symbol that due to its powerful meaning has become an amulet. The symbolic meaning of the hand of Fatima changes depending on the specific position where it is used. If it is placed upwards, it is a symbol for strength, power and blessing. If it is placed downwards, it attracts good fortune, patience and love.
