Origin Tea & Herbs

A conceptual packaging design for a new luxury Sri Lankan tea brand.

For the designing aspect of this project, it was decided that the motifs and illustrations from Sri Lanka would be used in the packaging design. Along with delicate line art that symbolize many ancient drawings and art that can be found in the ancient ruins & historical sights of Sri Lanka. Each flavor is adorned with different floral motifs that have been used to signify that particular blend of tea.

The bold colors were inspired by the vibrancy of culture pertaining to food, nature, art, history and the people of the island. The typography style chosen was a combination of a subtle serif decorative font, paired with a modern yet timeless sans serif font. The combination together compliments the illustration and concept of the project.
