When we were approached to create a new brand based on natural ingredients but backed by science – one that would sell globally but be rooted in its Indian origin, it was the perfect opportunity to use design to create balance. From its Sanskrit-inspired name Mitvana (meaning ‘friend of the forest’) – to a visual language that balanced scientific precision and cleanliness with the beauty and colour of nature – we designed a range of products that felt Indian yet international, natural yet scientific – and most crucially, felt like your perfect skincare partner!
