Casa Tertúlia is a winery from Três de Maio in northwestern southern Brazil. Located in a region of reddish land called Alto Uruguai, the property’s main value is to bring people together in good times with stories, music and reciprocity and, of course, good wines.

The briefing asked for a project that would position the best wines of the house. A label that sought neutral tones and was based on black. The intention of a maximalist design project, with manual and artisanal works that recall the artisanal wine production of Casa tertúlia were also key elements for the design concept.

The wines of the Tertúlias line are a tribute to distant memories where the “tertúlias” means a time of warm prose and nocturnal singing. A series that includes several varieties such as Marselan, Teroldego, Cabernet Sauvignon among others. The creative research was guided by ancient elements, letters, carvings, clothing, utensils, furniture and environments. The illustration is purposely misshapen with disordered features that recall an era where the representation of people was not yet committed to the reality or precision of human dimensions, but rather, recording a memory of the moment. The details and finishes were worked to convey the feeling of being seated at the table, providing unforgettable moments with finishes that refer to meetings lit by lamps, candles and rusticity. The Hot foil  and embossing effects suggest the passage of time, with corroded elements and micro details. A label and a wine to be discovered, little by little in good company
