Pizza Box Design for Little Italy Restaurant

Little Italy Group of restaurants is India’s largest chain of authentic vegetarian Italian fine dining restaurants. It started its journey in 1989 as La Pizzeria in Pune and has come a long way since. It now has over 30 Italian Restaurants across 20 cities in India and 4 abroad, namely in Nepal, Dubai, Bangkok and Sharjah.

This much loved and well-established brand needed a fresh look for their pizza delivery boxes. Envisioning an interactive box, allowing their customers to engage with friends and family over puzzles, fun facts and the brand’s achievements while biting away the appetizing pizza. The brand is renowned for its hospitality hence, we added a note which also serves as the branding space on each box, to handwrite the name of every consumer who orders the pizza.

The red, green and beige are used to have a closeness with the flag of Italy, and key ingredients which contribute to the strong flavors of the pizza (Cheese, tomato and basil). We have made small changes to the shades, to make them warmer and more affectionate. This contrasting and recognizable design has quickly become a strong favorite with millennial and young families. The box is often shared on Instagram by its customers who are thrilled with the design.
