Casttêdo Valley Wines

The Casttêdo Valley vineyards enjoy the perfect combination of a unique microclimate, a soil extracted from immemorial shale rocks, with meticulously selected vines, combined with techniques that promote biodiversity. A “terroir” that guarantees healthy and unique grapes, transformed in mills dating back to 1873, full of history and tradition combined with new technologies in the production of outstanding wines.

One of the most important stages of the creative process is the first contact with the producer, with the vineyard and the landscape that surrounds it. As we went up and down the levels that separate the vineyards, the owners Luísa and Mário were telling the stories and ambitions that mark this project. The labels, distinguished by their different sizes, reflect exactly the experience we had throughout the visit, where each level is a story and where each wine is a memory.
