Stepping into Spoiled Parrot is like entering a candy-colored dream, where retro nostalgia meets gilded elegance. We named this confectionery emporium after a stanza from a Rumi poem which goes “I am a spoiled parrot who eats only candy. I have no interest in bitter food.” And when you visit, you too may want to eat only candy (and ice cream).

Located inside Seaport’s newly opened Tin Building, we find our “Spoiled Parrot” implied by an icon of an empty, open bird cage. Our missing parrot takes on the form of multi-hued, abstract feather-like shapes, which double as product flavor differentiators and help to unify the packaging.

Custom-molded chocolate bars and luxurious print details befit the Art Deco architecture and interiors of this Jean-Georges establishment while a custom-drawn logotype and accompanying typography further evoke this era in time, carefully balancing a sense of sophistication and whim.
