Memóire Tea Packaging for special line Ode To The Sea

The Mémoire is a Charlotte-based tea company looking for a new and refreshed look for its new tea line inspired by different moments. Mémoire’s packaging was conventional and very similar to every other brand of tea: a white pouch with a side label in black and white.

The brand required brand-new, distinctive packaging that consumers would want to keep and not discard. We decided to alter the packaging itself in addition to the labels. We chose a metal tin because it is a durable, elegant package that not only offers a high-end aesthetic but also one that is very unique. To give each blend character and personality and to elevate the brand with one-of-a-kind elements, we decided to hand-write the names of each blend and create hand-drawn illustrations. For the special line “Ode To The Sea”, each illustration draws inspiration from the moment, and it aims to evoke a sentimental and cozy atmosphere with its style, color, and handwriting font.
