Oh, this familiar taste and alluring taste of pizza. What is pizza? This is a traditional Italian dish in the form of a round yeast tortilla, baked with a filling of tomato sauce, cheese and often other ingredients laid on top. Margarita, pepperoni, Neapolitan pizza — they are all familiar to us from childhood. This dish can be found in any country of the world, in any store.

Nowadays pizza has become not only a strictly Italian dish, but already a nationwide one. Different variations of the dish can be found in every country, but already with its own national flavor with ingredients that add unusual and piquancy. The idea of my project is to move away from the usual pizza flavors and create packages for more local and unusual pizzas.

After doing a little research by country, I identified three of the most unusual tastes: sea, meat and sweet. Sea pizza is presented in Japan, with the addition of marine products and black dough, meat — in Turkey, with minced meat and spicy spices, and sweet — in Sweden, with chicken, pineapples, bananas and peanut paste.

To reflect the national flavor of each chosen country there were ethnic patterns, historical writing and symbols. In addition, each package is painted in certain colors, which are often found in the visual images of the selected territories. Japan is characterized by smooth patterns, similar to waves with softer “sea” colors. Turkey is a hot country with geometric patterns and warm shades. And in Sweden, the land of Vikings, northern winds and sweaters with reindeer, cold shades with accents on orange, mixed in geometric patterns, are very suitable.
