Now, the brand honours a new era of contemporary monarchy with the Royal Salute Coronation of King Charles III Edition, a limited release consisting of only 500 bottles – fit for a king!

The Coronation of King Charles III not only celebrates this significant milestone in British history but also marks the culmination of a 20-year partnership between Royal Salute and IPL Packaging, proud producers of the bespoke packaging that encases The Royal Salute Coronation of King Charles III Edition, presented in a stunning Dartington Crystal decanter.

The special hand-blown decanters created for this edition have been tinted in a deep sapphire blue, reminiscent of the precious stones adorning the Imperial State Crown. True to Royal Salute’s signature style, the decanter is elegantly presented in an intricately designed wooden case.

Designed by Boundless Brand Design and produced by the team at IPL Packaging, this exquisite wooden case features intricate engravings inspired by the architecture of Westminster Abbey, the historic venue for British Coronation ceremonies since 1066. Electroformed gold-coloured decals form a frame around the front of the lid, while small diamond-shaped decals are inset on the box front, featuring a lion’s head on the top panel and another on the inside. Gold-colored aluminum diamond-shaped plaques on the inner and outer lid of the case further enhance the exclusive feel of the packaging, while complete branding is displayed on the back panel.

The blending of tradition with modernity is seamlessly showcased in the special tributes to the coronation found upon opening the box. Each lined leatherette panel is imprinted with the jewels and crests representing each country comprising Great Britain, symbolizing the unity and enduring solidarity of these nations under the Crown. The box features a pull ribbon for easy opening, and discreetly concealed round magnets secured beneath the veneer ensure a secure closure. Furthermore, two electroplated gold-coloured metal hinges allow for a 180-degree opening, providing a perfect display of the exquisite bottle within.
