Cósmico Yerba Mate

The mate, a traditional and typical beverage from the southern world in countries like Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, is made from mate tea. Its history is closely linked to the ancestry of the indigenous people, who believed that its consumption provided energy to those who drank it frequently. With the arrival of Europeans, mate consumption grew, passing down through generations. Today, it is a very popular drink, even in countries outside of Latin America.

In this project for Cósmico Yerba Mate, we developed a brand and packaging system inspired by Argentine culture, the product’s place of origin. We used symbols such as the “guarda pampa” and signage from old labels, highlighting origin information. The chosen colors evoke the aesthetics of the pampa, a typical landscape of the region.
