Rescript – 100% Recycled Stationery

Rescript, founded in 2021, is a sustainable office supply brand with a mission to reduce the environmental impact of stationery. Early on, we recognized a key challenge: encouraging people to adopt sustainable stationery. It is often perceived as having an unconventional texture or lacking durability compared to traditional options. To address this, we designed minimal and clean products, letting the 100% recycled paper take center stage without being overly preachy.

Our branding journey began with a pencil paired with a simple leaf logo, symbolizing growth and sustainability. We then introduced an iconic green band encircling the product covers, a design element now instantly recognizable by Rescript’s loyal consumer base.

As the brand evolved, we embraced geometric shapes in our visual identity—a deliberate departure from the abstract motifs commonly associated with sustainable brands. The balance and consistency of geometric forms reflect the brand’s structured approach and significant impact. To date, Rescript has planted over 5,600 trees, saved 9.2 million liters of water, and prevented 215,740 kilograms of CO2 emissions—concrete proof of its dedication to sustainability.
